An Uber driver shared a video with FOX 26 showing Houston Police Department officers commandeering his vehicle while they were in pursuit of a fleeing suspect.
HOUSTON - A Houston-area Uber driver has quite the story to tell following an incident earlier this month.

What we know:
The video showed an Uber driver, by the name of Anthony Baines, showed a suspect running in front of his vehicle and two officers chasing behind the suspect.
One of the officers jumped into Baines' vehicle and told him to go after the suspect, saying, "Go, go, go, go!"
The backstory:
According to Houston police, it all began when authorities responded to a terroristic threat call on Seventh Street back on August 7.
Authorities said a woman was at the pool with her kids when the suspect came out of an apartment and they got into a fight.
At one point, officials said, he is accused of threatening to shoot them, so the woman called authorities.
Officers later arrived and while taking her statement, the suspect walked out of the apartment. That's when, officers attempted to detain the suspect. However, the suspect got out of the officer's grasp and took off on foot, beginning a pursuit.
Houston police said at one point, an officer got into a citizen's car and the driver took the officers around the block to the apartment complex where the officers got into their own car.
The officers then began their search for the suspect again. However, authorities said the suspect wasn't apprehended.
What we don't know:
Officials did not identify who the suspect was.
The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
