Hackers claiming allegiance to ISIS take control of Maryland TV station website, Twitter feed

A Maryland news station says its website and Twitter feed were hijacked by hackers claiming allegiance to the Islamic State group.

WBOC-TV in Salisbury, Maryland, says hackers calling themselves 'Cyber Caliphate' took over the website and Twitter feed Tuesday.

The station's Twitter feed remained under the hackers' control Wednesday.

The station took back control of their website, but not before the group briefly displayed the extremist black-and-white flag and a message saying, "I LOVE YOU, ISIS."

It's unclear at that time whether the hackers are genuine members or even supporters of the Islamic State group.
