Gas leak evacuates Silver Spring elementary school
SILVER SPRING, Md. - Breaking news from Montgomery County where officials say Dr. Charles R. Drew Elementary School in the 1200 block of Swingingdale Drive in Silver Spring is evacuating due to a gas leak.
The evacuation was ordered around 9:30 a.m. Friday.
