Funeral services planned for 6-year-old girl killed in Clinton, Md. home

Funeral plans are set for a 6-year-old girl murdered one week ago in her Clinton, Maryland home. Nadira Jana'e Withers' family tells FOX 5 DC she will remembered in a going home service on Wednesday.

Nadira and her two cousins, 9-year-old Ariana Decree and 6-year-old Ajayah Decree of Newark, New Jersey, were found dead in their beds in the home on Brooke Jane Drive in Clinton last Friday. Investigators say Nadira's brother, 25-year-old Antonio Williams, confessed to killing the three girls while he was babysitting them when their mother was at work.

Nadira's family tells FOX 5 DC Nadira's going home service will take place on Wednesday, August 30 at the Zion Church (First Baptist Church of Glenarden Ministry Center), located at 3600 Brightseat Road in Landover. There will be a viewing from 9-11 am, followed by a service at 11 am.

Williams is being held without bond and faces charges including first-degree murder and second-degree murder. In a chaotic court appearance earlier this week, a judge ordered him to undergo a mental competency evaluation.

UPDATE (8/26): The Withers family has decided that only family and friends will be invited to attend the funeral services, and not the public, as first reported Friday.
