Friday Rain / Snow Timeline: Mix of rain and snow showers move in Friday afternoon

Spring is not too far away but before we get there winter is reminding us it's not over yet! The D.C. region is in store for an afternoon mix of rain and snow that could impact the evening commute on Friday.

Following a messy afternoon and evening, rain showers are expected across the area Saturday night. Once that wet weather moves out Sunday looks more like spring with warm temperatures near 70 degrees expected!

We will start to see more sunlight on Sunday too as Daylight Saving Time beings on March 10 at 2 a.m. when clocks are turned forward one hour to 3 a.m.
