Frederick shooting sends man to hospital

FREDERICK, MD - A man is in the hospital after a shooting early Sunday in Frederick.
Police say it happened at 1:17 a.m. at Fourth and North Market streets.
Police say the victim was shot multiple times. He is recovering at a local hospital.
Police say they have deployed additional patrol officers in recent weeks "based on a combination of historical data and current trends."
