Frederick, DC police investigating whether Tuscarora HS student is victim found with hand cut off
WASHINGTON (FOX 5 DC) - Frederick and D.C. police are working to confirm whether the body of a mutilated homicide victim found under the Chain Bridge in Northwest is that of a ninth-grade Tuscarora High School student who was reported missing last week.
The school district told FOX 5 that Eberson Guerra Sanchez was found dead in the District, but they deferred to law enforcement regarding how he was found.
Police began investigating on Saturday after a body was found under the chain bridge.
Sanchez was reported missing last week, and the district say he was found dead in D.C. over the weekend. Police would not confirm, however, that the body found under the bridge was that of the missing boy.
Investigators said the victim's hand had been cut off.
