FOX 5's 'Like It or Not' sets debut

FOX 5 DC will debut a new week in review news program, "Like It or Not," beginning Friday, March 2nd, announced station Vice President and General Manager, Patrick Paolini. "Like It or Not" will debut as a six-week preview and will encompass news from the week in politics, entertainment and pop culture. The program will air Fridays at 10:30 p.m. and repeat Saturday at 8:30 p.m. on Fox 5 Plus, WDCA.

Hosted by Britt McHenry, Bram Weinstein, and Guy Lambert, the half-hour program will go beyond the headlines and provide edgy, controversial commentary. Britt McHenry is a former ESPN reporter who began her career as a sports reporter at WJLA in Washington, D.C. Bram Weinstein is the host of "The Bram Weinstein Show," weekdays from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on "The Team 980." Prior to that, he was an ESPN Radio host, sideline reporter, and host of ESPN's "SportsCenter." He began his broadcasting career at KHAS-TV in Hastings, Nebraska. Guy Lambert is the news director at Washington D.C. radio station WPGC 95.5, where he also anchors "The Joe Clair Morning Show" and a weekly community affairs program, "Community Focus" on Sunday mornings. He is also the co-host of a weekly podcast, "The Hughley Truth," with comedian D.L. Hughley.

In making the announcement, Paolini stated, "Buckle up! This isn't your typical traditional news program. Bram, Britt and Guy are provocative and intelligent and will present their candid opinions and observations on a wide range of news of the day topics and issues."

WTTG is part of the FOX Television Stations, one of the nation's largest owned-and-operated network broadcast groups, comprising 28 stations in 17 markets and covering over 37% of U.S. television homes. This includes seven duopolies in the top 10 markets: New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Dallas, San Francisco, Washington, D.C. and Houston; as well as duopolies in Minneapolis, Phoenix, Orlando and Charlotte.
