FOX 5 producer gets a tattoo on live TV

WASHINGTON - This was one Good Day DC segment that FOX 5 DC's Senior Producer, Chris Smith will ALWAYS remember producing.

And if he does forget, all he has to do is look down at his forearm for a quick reminder-- how can you forget getting tatted on LIVE TV?

The FOX Senior Producer - who already has multiple tattoos over his body - was inked up with the "&" symbol on LIVE TV in honor of National Ampersand Day. An ampersand is an indication of the future and an expectation for something more to occur. The symbol could represent the ending of a difficult period and the continuation on to a brighter path.

Smith was calm, cool and collected as the tattoo artist carefully drew and filled in the "&" symbol on his forearm - oh and did we mention that he produced two hours of live TV at the same time. It's official, Smith not only lived up to meaning of "multi-tasking," but he also takes the trophy for truly 'taking one for the team!'
