Former DC government worker accepted cash, sexual favors for food stamps, prosecutors say
WASHINGTON (FOX 5 DC) - A former D.C. government worker is facing charges in a major food stamp fraud scheme.
Demetrius McMillan is accused of accepting more than $380,000 in cash, along with sexual favors in exchange for issuing $1.4 million in food stamps.
Prosecutors say McMillan perpetrated the scheme from April through July of 2018.
