A man is in the hospital after a high-rise rescue Saturday in Northeast D.C.
WASHINGTON - A man is in the hospital after a high-rise rescue Saturday in Northeast D.C.
Firefighters say they rappeled the man down from the 230-foot-tall crane starting around 10:30 a.m. Saturday at 400 Florida Ave., NE.
They posted videos of the dramatic high-rise rescue:
The man suffered non-life-threatening injuries, the firefighters say. He was the crane operator.
