Fire breaks out at Fairfax home after lightning strike

FAIRFAX, Va. - Fire officials say a fire was extinguished at a house that was struck by lightning in Fairfax as severe weather was passing through the area Friday.

Firefighters responded to the 9600 block of Ceralene Court and found the fire coming from the home, which would later extend to the attic.

There were no injuries reported.
