Fire at Arlington high rise apartment on Columbia Pike
ARLINGTON, Va. - A fire broke out in Arlington at about 11:20 a.m. Saturday morning, officials say.
Crews responded to the 5500 block of Columbia Pike after receiving reports about a fire at a high rise apartment.
The Arlington County Fire Department reported that the fire had been successfully put out by 11:40 a.m.
Fire units are working to ventilate the building and help the apartment's residents who sheltered in place.
