Feels like summer Monday with temperatures near 90 degrees; chance for afternoon storms
WASHINGTON (FOX 5 DC) - It feels like summer Monday with temperatures in the 70s to begin the day. FOX 5's Mike Thomas say highs will reach the upper 80s and will feel like the 90s as the day continues.
A cold front to the west will bring the possibility of some afternoon showers and thunderstorms. Mike says the storms won't be too widespread but we could see some precipitation in the D.C. region between 2 p.m. and 3 p.m.
Spring temperatures return Tuesday and Wednesday with highs in the 70s. The heat returns as we head into the weekend with highs back in the 80s and possibly even 90 degrees on Sunday.
