Double Fatal accident on Prince William Parkway

Prince William County Police responded to Prince William Pkwy between I-95 and York Dr in Woodbridge Saturday night in order to investigate a two-vehicle accident.

On location they found Three victims. Two of them, both adult males, were pronounced dead at the scene.

A third victim, also an adult male, has been flown to an area hospital with life threatening injuries.

investigation revealed that the driver of a 2006 Honda Civic was traveling westbound on Prince William Pkwy between York Dr/Summerland Dr and the I-95 northbound on ramp at a high rate of speed when the driver lost control of the vehicle. The Civic then veered across the median onto the eastbound side of the roadway and struck a 2001 Mitsubishi Mirage traveling in the eastbound lanes. The driver of the Civic and a passenger of the Mirage were pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Mirage was flown to an area hospital with life threatening injuries and is expected to recover. It is unknown at this time if alcohol and drugs are a factor.

The driver of the 2006 Honda Civic was identified as Kevin Jonathan MARTINEZ, 20 of Woodbridge

The passenger of the 2001 Mitsubishi Mirage was identified as Miguel Montae GRIFFITH, 24, of Ft. Washington, Maryland

The driver of the 2001 Mitsubishi Mirage was identified as a 30-year-old man of Manassas
