Dog rescued from house fire, given oxygen
A dog was rescued from a Damascus, MD fire today. Fire crews gave the dog oxygen to help save him.
Around 2:30pm today Montgomery County, MD Fire Department went to the 25100 block of Tarlee Court in Damascus, MD for a town house fire.
When they arrived, they found fire on the first floor. They began helping the residents and pets get out of the house.
All the residents safely got out of the house, but the family's dog was not accounted for.
Once the fire was put out, fire crews found the dog, but it was overcome by smoke. Crews gave the dog oxygen, the dog is expected to be ok.
A Montgomery County Fire spokesman says there was a small fire in the living room. The cause in under investigation.
