Did school districts overreact by closing Wednesday?

Not much on the roads Wednesday morning. But that didn't stop many major school districts from delaying their opening time or closing altogether.

The snow which fell early Wednesday morning was very light and was expected to wrap up before noon.

The bulk of the snow hit along parts of the eastern shore and to the south of D.C.

In the D.C. metro area – a little more than a dusting was expected to stick. Some roads in the surrounding counties were slick.

Many school districts were criticized last week when the area received between 2 and 4 inches during the first snowfall of 2015.

Fairfax County Public Schools were trending on Twitter worldwide as parents and students took to social media to express their outrage they decided to stay open despite the snow. On Wednesday, Fairfax closed.

Prince William County Schools even apologized for not canceling class.

So what do you think about this snowstorm? Do you think some school districts overreacted by closing today?
