Death investigation underway in Prince George's County after female's body found in creek

RIVERDALE, Md. (FOX 5 DC) - BREAKING: Detectives in Prince George's County are investigating after a female's body was found in a creek in Riverdale Wednesday morning.

Police say the body was discovered at around 10 a.m. in the 6300 block of 64th Avenue.

An autopsy will be conducted to determine the cause of death, according to police.

Detectives are currently working to identify the female.
