Deadly crash on Interstate 70 in Frederick County

NEW MARKET, Md. (FOX 5 DC) - Police say one person is dead after an early morning crash on Interstate 70 in Frederick County.

The crash was reported around 5 a.m. on westbound Interstate 70 just past exit 62 in the New Market area.

Several lanes of westbound Interstate 70 were closed. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
