Kansas town honors victims of DCA plane crash

A town in Kansas honored the lives of those lost in the DCA plane crash in January. A Facebook post showed multiple farmers lining the road with their farming equipment in Barber County. According to the post, the town lost two people from the community in the plane crash.

"Today we say good bye for now to two of the very best to live in Barber County and our tiny town of Kiowa," the post read.

The backstory:

The DCA plane crash left 67 people dead after American Airlines commercial flight 5342 and a U.S. Army helicopter collided mid-air on January 29 around 9 p.m ET. All of the remains of the victims have been recovered and one is still waiting to be identified. The crash remains under investigation to confirm more details about the collision.

Following the plane crash, there have been displays honoring those who were lost. In Charlotte, North Carolina, the body of Ian Epstein, a flight attendant, was flown home and honored with a water salute for his service.
