DC police searching for 2 men who tried to lure girl into car with candy
WASHINGTON - Metropolitan police say they are searching for two men accused of trying to lure a girl into their vehicle in Northwest, D.C. by using candy.
The incident occurred in the 3900 block of Argyle Terrace, in NW, D.C on April 18 around 7 p.m. The vehicle police are looking for is described as being either a white sedan or a small white SUV. The two men approached a female child in the vehicle and the driver of the vehicle offered the child candy, and attempted to lure the child into the vehicle.
One of the suspects is described as a White or Hispanic man around the age of 70. He has grey, short hair and green eyes. The suspect has a tattoo in the shape of a beetle on the back of his neck.
The second suspect is described as a White or Hispanic man around the age of 60. He has white hair and a nose ring. Both of the men have accents, police said.
