DC police release surveillance images in search for suspect in Capitol Hill area armed robberies
WASHINGTON (FOX 5 DC) - Police are asking for help identifying a person they say is responsible for two armed robberies less than a mile apart in the Capitol Hill area.
The incidents were both reported on April 25. The first happened around 10:25 a.m. in the unit block of Brown Court and the second was reported around 10:45 a.m. in the 500 block of 7th Street.
In each of the incidents, police say a subject pulled a gun on the victims and robbed them before fleeing the scene.
In two of the surveillance camera images released by police, the suspect appears to be riding a scooter.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 202-727-9099. A reward of up to $10,000 is being offered.
