DC police make arrest in murder of teen who was chased into a stairwell, shot

Police have arrested a suspect who they believe chased a 15-year-old down a hallway and into a stairwell before shooting him to death in Southeast D.C.

They are still looking for a second suspect in the murder of Gerald Watson.

Police began investigating after Watson was found dead in the 2900 block of Knox Place Southeast on Thursday, Dec. 13.

On Tuesday, D.C. police arrested 16-year-old Malik Holston, charging him with first-degree murder while armed.

Police are still investigating the incident.
