DC police ID victim in Capitol Street Northeast double shooting
WASHINGTON - D.C. police have identified a man who was shot to death on East Capitol Street Northeast around midnight.
Police responded to the scene in the 3900 block around 11:58 p.m.
When they arrived, they found 22-year-old Semaj Alsobrooks of Northeast unconscious.
Alsobrooks was taken to a local hospital, where he died.
Police found a second victim on the scene also, who was transported to a local hospital.
They do not believe the second victim’s injuries are life threatening.
The investigation is continuing. No suspects or motives have been identified at this time.
