DC man charged with murder in 6-month-old's death

WASHINGTON - A Washington man is under arrest in connection with the death of a 6-month-old in September.
Police charged 21-year-old Bobby Reginald Davis, Jr. with first-degree murder on Friday.
They began investigating on Sept. 5 when they responded to a home in Southeast, D.C. where they found 6-month-old Brooklynn Zakiya Hill-Davis suffering from burn injuries.
The infant was taken to a local hospital, but she succumbed to her injuries a week later.
Medical officials determined that the cause of the child's death was homicide.
