DC barricade suspect taken into custody: police

WASHINGTON, D.C. - The Metropolitan Police Department responded to a barricade situation in Southeast, D.C. 

Police were in the 2700 block of James M McGee Jr. Street in response to the report of a barricade situation. 

Individuals were asked to avoid the area as they worked to resolve the incident. The individual involved was taken into custody by police.
