Come ‘Party with a Purpose' with FOX 5 at Tommy Joe's for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society
WASHINGTON (FOX 5 DC) - Join your FOX 5 favorites and Truman Charities as we "Party with a Purpose" as we raise money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society!
Come up to Tommy Joe's, located at 7940 Norfolk Avenue in Bethesda, between 5 and 9 p.m. on April 17 for an evening filled with FOX 5 fun!
Tucker Barnes, Maureen Umeh, Erin Como, Kevin McCarthy, Tisha Lewis and more of the FOX 5 family will be guest bartending throughout the evening and serving up drink and food specials all night.
There will also be great live and silent auction items and raffle prizes, including tickets to see the Capitals, Nationals and Redskins, a chance to be on Cooking with Como on Good Day DC, and many other amazing prizes from local businesses.
Proceeds from the event will benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society to help find cures for blood cancers.
Last year, FOX 5 raised more than $8,000 for the cause and we're looking to top that number this year!
