Coldplay invites fan onstage to perform 'Everglow'
MUNICH - It was a dream come true for a Coldplay superfan as he was invited onstage to play with the band.
The fan was in the crowd of thousands at a show in Munich on Tuesday holding a sign that read, "Can I play Everglow for you?"
Coldplay singer Chris Martin pulled the fan onto the stage and had him sit down at the piano to accompany him.
"Let's try and keep relations in Europe good," Martin quipped.
Martin was notably impressed with the pianist's skill, suggesting that he should take over the concert for him.
The duo performed "Everglow" as fans roared with applause.
At the end of the song, the fan and Martin embraced. The elated fan documented the unforgettable moment on his smartphone, despite the fact that Martin assured him the entire audience was filming it for him.
The audience cheered as the fan made his way back to his seat. Coldplay later posted the video to their Facebook page, which has since gone viral.
