Chilly start to last morning of winter; warmer afternoon temperatures welcome in spring
It was a chilly start to winter's last sunrise of the season but the cold temperatures are expected to rise later this afternoon as milder air moves in to welcome spring's arrival.
Officially, spring begins at 5:58 p.m. Wednesday so it was only fitting that temperatures were in the 20s and 30s to begin the day.
