Charges dismissed against Ashburn man

ASHBURN, Va. - Charges against an Ashburn man have been dropped after he was arrested in 2022.

51-year-old Steven F. Dennen was arrested on October 14, 2022. He originally faced attempted second-degree murder and assault charges after being accused of trying to smother a woman to death with a pillow inside her Loudoun County home.

Charges were heard in Loudoun Juvenile & Domestic Relations District Court and all charges were dismissed in April 2024.
