Change of Seasons: John Oates pens new memoir

WASHINGTON - Half of one of the best-selling music duos of all time has a new memoir on store shelves, but it's not what you might think you'd read in a music legend's memoir. John Oates's first book, Change of Seasons, details the stories behind some of the big hits you know and love by Daryl Hall and John Oates, and his life before he was half of the pair that has become known as Hall and Oates.

Before their DC show at the Verizon Center with Tears for Fears on Monday night, John Oates stopped by the Loft for a very special appearance to Good Day DC. He talked about writing his book, writing great songs and much more.

Oh, and there might have been some "Maneater" karaoke.
