Celebrating the winner of FOX 5's 2016 Mazda CX-9 Give-A-Way at our final Zip Trip to Silver Spring

SILVER SPRING, Md. - All summer long, during our FOX 5 ZIP TRIPS , we've promised one lucky viewer a new 2016 Mazda CX-9! On Friday, at our final Zip Trip of the summer to downtown Silver Spring, we delivered!

Elsie Fleming from Washington D.C. took home the prize! She couldn't even speak when we asked her how bad she needed the car. She said she couldn't wait to tell her children about the amazing prize.

"Be honest, when you showed up today did you think you were going to win a new car?" asked FOX 5's Holly Morris. "Yeah!" Elsie said, as confident as ever.

Elsie told us that she watches FOX 5 News Morning each morning and that she entered the contest every week.

Elsie won her new ride during our final Zip Trip of the season to Silver Spring - a great place for food and fun! The diverse restaurants, lively entertainment, and friendly neighborhoods in the area are sure to please! During all of our summer FOX 5 ZIP TRIPS, you'll have a chance to win an all-new 2016 Mazda CX-9!
