BWI Amtrak station reopens after suspicious package investigation
LINTHICUM, Md. - The Amtrak station at the Baltimore Washington International Airport has reopened after being shut down due to a suspicious package.
Officials said the package was discovered shortly after 11 a.m. and all trains and buses heading to the station were halted.
Police cleared the package and service was restored at about 1:10 p.m. Amtrak officials said delays were expected into the afternoon and thanked customers for their patience.
