Buses replacing trains during weekend Metro closure; Blue, Yellow lines shut down May 4th and 5th

WASHINGTON (FOX 5 DC) - If you plan to take Metro's Blue and Yellow lines this weekend be prepared for some adjustments to the service schedule.

Free bus shuttles will replace trains south of Reagan National Airport while work is being done on the platforms at six stations on May 4 and 5.

This weekend's adjustments will give riders an idea of what Metro's summer shutdown will look like. Those same six stations will be closed from Memorial Day weekend until after Labor Day for platform improvement projects.
