Burglars climb in Wendy's drive-thru window, steal safe
WASHINGTON - Two brazen burglars pried open a Wendy's drive-thru window to steal a safe in Washington D.C., and the entire incident was caught on camera.
Authorities said the suspects drove up to the Wendy's in the 3900 block of Georgia Avenue NW at about 4 a.m. on May 14.
In the video, two suspects can be seen climbing through the Wendy's drive-thru window and later fleeing with a safe in tow.
A $1,000 reward is being offered by Crime Solvers of Washington D.C. to anyone who provides information that leads to the suspects' arrests.
Anyone with information that could aid detectives in their investigation was urged to call the Metropolitan Police Department's Fourth District at (202) 727-9099.
