Boy trips, accidentally punches hole through 350-year-old painting

An emergency restoration crew is on the scene at a Taiwan art exhibit trying to salvage a damaged 350-year-old painting after it was damaged by a young boy.

The painting, Italian master Paola Porpora's 17th century oil on canvas painting, 'The Flower,' sustained a fist sized hole in its lower right corner when a 12-year-old boy tripped in front of the painting while touring an exhibit in Taipei.

The painting was on loan to exhibit organizers from a private collector and is estimated to be worth $1 million.
