All clear after police called to Warner Theatre for report of suspicious package
WASHINGTON - An all clear was given after police were called to the Warner Theatre for a report of a suspicious package. Officers received the report around 9 a.m.
While police investigated, emergency crews shut down area of 13th Street and Pennsylvania Avenue around the theater. Adjacent buildings to the Warner Theatre were also evacuated as a precaution.
Police say several entrances to the Metro Center station were closed due while the incident was being investigated.
No injuries were reported. Officials gave the all clear around 11 a.m.
