Alexandria police investigate robbery and assault

ALEXANDRIA, Va. - Alexandria police are investigating an early morning robbery and assault.

The incident happened on the 2900 block of Mainline Boulevard.

Police say four suspects assaulted and robbed a man in an apartment and then fled the scene.

So far no suspect description is available.
