Alabama officer's 'first day of school' picture goes viral

SHELBY COUNTY, Ala. - An Alabama deputy's hilarious photo of his "first day of school" is going viral around the country.

The Shelby County Sheriff's Office shared a photo of school resource officer Sergeant Nathan Kendrick to their Facebook page.

In the photo, Sgt. Kendrick poses in front of a home with a Spider-Man backpack and sign that says "2018 1st Day of School"

Kendrick has an extremely embarrassed look on his face.

The Sheriff's Office called it the sergeant's "first day of school photo."

The picture quickly went viral on Facebook, being shared over 6,000 times.
