3 shot on M Street in Northwest DC; police continue search for suspects

WASHINGTON - No suspects are in custody after three people were shot in Northwest D.C. Wednesday night.

The shootings happened in the unit block of M Street at around 9:19 p.m.

Police say a woman was found by officers unconscious and unresponsive with a gunshot wound to the head. A man was found with gunshot wounds to the torso. Another man was shot in the foot.

Police were still on the scene investigating Thursday morning. Drivers can expect traffic delays in the area while officers remain on the scene.
