3 rushed to hospital after Montgomery County crash involving police cruiser

OLNEY, Md. - Three people including an officer were rushed to the hospital after a crash involving a police cruiser in Montgomery County on Tuesday.

Montgomery County police said the two-car crash happened at about 12:15 p.m. near Village Center Drive and MD-108 in Olney.

Authorities said a police cruiser and civilian vehicle were involved in a collision, but could not provide details about the nature of the crash.

One officer was in the patrol cruiser and two people were in the civilian vehicle, according to officials.

Authorities said all three were taken to a trauma center. Their conditions were not available at this time.
