3 found dead inside Spotsylvania County home; infant, toddler found inside alive

A mystery is unfolding in Spotsylvania County where a man, woman and a teenager were found dead inside of a home in Fredericksburg Wednesday morning. Even more disturbing, authorities say, was that an infant and a toddler were found alive inside that same house.

The incident was reported around 9 a.m. Wednesday at a home on Arlene Acres Drive.

On Thursday, police identified the victims as 39-year-old Michael Coleman, 34-year-old Rachel Ozuna, and 14-year-old Kyrrus Ozuna.

Authorities will only say that the deaths are suspicious. Officers say there is no obvious threat to others in the area. Nothing else is being released at this time.

FOX 5 is not identifying the family until police release their names. A relative posted on social media that there were two teens, a toddler, and an infant living in the home with the adults, who were a couple, but not married.

FOX 5's Melanie Alnwick says it is not clear how long the victims had been deceased but it is believed that the infant and toddler may have been stranded in the home for two days. they were both taken to the hospital and treated for dehydration, Alnwick says.

Neighbors tell FOX 5 that the family purchased the home several months ago and were doing a lot of construction so they waited until the baby was born to move in.

The investigation is continuing at this time.
