3 charged in up to 93 Howard County car break-ins and gun and drug crimes police say

Three suspects are facing charges in connection with up to 93 car break-ins, drug crimes, and gun crimes in Howard County.

According to Howard County police, 47 of the break-ins occurred in Columbia over the past year.

They are suspected in nearly double that number.

Davon Kyree Holden, 21, Tyres Deontay Holden, 20, and Brice Laron Robinson, 23, of New Country Lane, are all charged with multiple counts of theft, along with destruction of property, and gun-related charges.

Another suspect - 21-year-old Brooke Johnson of Farewell Road - faces gun charges in connection with the investigation. Johnson is not charged in the break-ins.

Investigators discovered evidence to the 93 break-ins when they were searching a New Country Lane home in connection with a drug investigation.

In addition, they found crack cocaine, a handgun, a sawed-off shotgun, and a stolen shotgun.

Some of the items they found - including backpacks, wallets, purses, identification cards, and tax documents - have not been linked to specific cases, police say.
