23-year-old man shot and killed in Woodbridge

Police are investigating after a 23-year-old man was fatally shot early Monday morning in Woodbridge.

The shooting happened in the parking lot of a hookah bar, Babylon Woodbridge, according to officials.

The incident happened in the 3000 block of Golansky Blvd. in Woodbridge around 2:20 a.m. on Monday, according to Prince William County police.

Johnnie Pablito Kamara, 23, of Maryland, was found suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Officials believe there was an altercation that happened in the parking lot shortly after the hookah bar closed at 2 a.m.

According to authorities Golansky Blvd. is closed between Smoketown Rd. and 3171 Golansky Blvd. for the investigation.
