2 women hospitalized after Montgomery Village dog attack
MONTGOMERY VILLAGE, Md. (FOX 5 DC) - Two women were hospitalized after dogs attacked them within a home in Montgomery Village Saturday night.
Police responded to the scene in the 18000 block of Singing Pine Circle after the incident was reported around 8:50 p.m.
When they arrived, they found that one of the victims had been able to escape the home, but the other victim was still inside being attacked by two dogs.
Police could see the attack still going on, and they entered the home, shooting and killing both dogs.
Police described the victims' injuries as "significant, but non-life-threatening."
Police are still investigating the incident.
They have not indicated what circumstances led up to the attack, nor have they said whether any suspects are in custody in connection with it.
