2 people in custody after pursuit ends with flipped car in DC

WASHINGTON (FOX 5 DC) - Two people have been taken into custody and one other is being sought after a police chase that began in Virginia ended in D.C. on Sunday.

D.C. police say they assisted law enforcement when the suspect's vehicle came from Northern Virginia and into the metro D.C. area.

The pursuit ended near the off ramp for Malcolm X/295 Southeast.

Multiple ambulances responded to the scene, along a police helicopter.

D.C. police K-9 units could be seen searching the area as well.

The suspects were turned over to Fairfax County police following the incident.
