2 found dead after shooting in Capitol Heights
CAPITOL HEIGHTS, Md. - Prince George's County police say two people were fatally shot in Capitol Heights.
Officers responded to the Central Gardens Apartments in the 6800 block of Central Avenue at around 7:50 p.m. Wednesday and found two men suffering from gunshot wounds. They were both pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say the shooting does not appear to be a random act.
"We are asking for anyone who have heard or seen anything to please call the police," said Prince George's County police spokesperson Cpl. Nicole Hubbard. "Any callers wishing to remain anonymous can call our Crime Solvers at 1-866-411-TIPS."
This shooting comes two months after a security guard was killed in the same apartment complex in what police have called a targeted attack. Another guard was also wounded in the shooting.
Both security guards were at their personal cars when gunfire rang out leaving 26-year-old Adrian Kinard dead from the shooting.
