15-year-old charged with McDonald's bathroom shooting; another person of interest sought
WASHINGTON - A 15-year-old boy has been arrested and charged with shooting a man in the bathroom of a McDonald's restaurant near the Verizon Center in D.C. last week.
D.C. police said a man was shot in the face at around 11:38 a.m. Friday inside the restaurant located in the 600 block of F Street in the Chinatown area of D.C. The bullet reportedly entered and exited the victim's cheek and he was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
The 15-year-old has been charged with assault with intent to kill, police said.
D.C. police have released surveillance video looking to identify another person of interest in connection to this shooting.
