12-year-old reported missing from Northeast DC has been located, police say

WASHINGTON (FOX 5 DC) - A 12-year-old girl who was reported missing from a Northeast D.C. home has been located, police say.

Police thanked the public for its help in locating Kayla Lewis, who had disappeared around 9:40 a.m. on Thursday.

They did not indicate what circumstances led to her disappearance, or how she was found.
