10 injured after crash involving Metrobus, minivan in Southeast DC

Nearly a dozen people were injured in a crash involving a bus and a car in Southeast D.C.

The crash was reported around 9:42 a.m. Friday at the intersection of 22nd Street and Alabama Avenue.

Fire officials say 10 people were transported to the hospital. Nine are believed to have minor injuries and one is believed to have critical injuries.

FOX 5's Jaclyn Kelley says two of the passengers in a minivan that was involved in the crash say they were on their way to father's funeral when crash happened. Kelley also says the driver of van has been cited.
